Accomplishments in 2 short years in office:
- Reduced the 2009 budget to LESS than the previous two years.
- Maintained the lowest Town tax rate in Columbia County.
- Donated my own budget officer salary back to the Town.
- Created an affordable solution to address our Highway Garage needs, without affecting our taxes.
- Installed generators and hookups in 3 buildings so we are prepared to protect our community in an emergency.
- Committed to updating the inequities in our property taxes (ongoing)
- Committed to recreational growth and community involvement.
- Currently securing the ball field for long term Town use.
- Through persistence, I finally have the County Highway Department repairing our roads in Clermont.
